Kansas game and New Years eve.

Woke up on Saturday and went for a walk. Then just chilled. Life has been lots of work as of late so I was just taking it easy. Every car was around here was packed, but in true Jeep Fashion I was able to find a car wash that was a bit off the beaten path. Then I drove over to Cody's where I met up with Sara and Eddie. We drove to Lawrence and Cody then took us through a journey of how he spent his days at KU. It was fun and KU won but a shit ton, this white guy from North Dakota had two nasty dunks though at our end. 2011 has been pretty good, since I haven't been drinking I really have to get out and try new things. I went to Sporting KC games, made an effort to enjoy Royals games live, and of course watching the Shit Chiefs. I met tons of new people, dated a couple ladies, got a new vehicle and just generally had a good time. I hope to give more of my time and energy back to several things next year. I understand now that giving to people and feeling good about it is a skill in itself.

Wednesday

Not much has been going on. I have been playing lots and lots of FIFA 2012. I am ok, it is a fun game even though I can't score for shit. Lots of resetting the game because I get frustrated when I loose. You know a game is good when you are pissed off at it, but you turn it right back on and try to win again. I need to buy a loan on a player. That is one thing you don't see in other sports is a loan on a player. Last year SKC got Jefferson on a loan and when the loan was up he went back to his shit team. That would be sweet to have that in baseball, like the Royals couldn't afford Pujols but maybe put in a loan for him for 4 months. Nothing has been going on with me with the ladies. It is good to be sober still. It never gets old not being hung over, or waking up with broken glasses. I got new glasses by the way. They have the scratch guard on them with the glare reducing agent on them. I probably got ripped off but I can see better than ever. Which is important when I am playing xbox 360.

Christmas Wrapup

On Saturday Kris and Jason woke up and watched the Chiefs. They blew it and it was a perfect shitty ending to a shit season. I hope next year they draft a QB, and Eric Berry and Jamaal Charles come back strong, until then I am looking forward to Spoooooriting Kansas City. I watched a bit of the NBA on Christmas day and it looks like the Heat are going to be bad ass again this year, it will be upto King James if he can win a title or just be a broke dick choker again this year. I got The Wire, a Jersey, and a bunch of stuff to wash myself with for Christmas. My parents seemed to like their gift cards and my nephew got enough shit to keep him busy until next year. I went over to see Bizzar54 when I was back in St. Joseph and he was doing well. Their house was full off kicks running around like wild dogs. (I said wild dogs not Wild Hogs...just in case Tim Allen follows my blogs).

Reapers16 Favorite albums

I love Reaper16. He gets my humor and feeds my large ego. In turn he provides me various Doom Metal Albums to listen to. He has a great ear for hip hop as well. Das Racist.....I adore that rap group. Chiefs plus chopper

I really enjoyed that win last week over the packers. Next year if the chiefs get Charles and Berry back they will be an upper ranked team as far as stats go. They blew it as far as getting a Franchise QB, but that was already decided because Matt Barkley decided to Turn Pro. The Chiefs Wide Receivers are great, they just need someone that isn't a broke dick to throw to them. I really wanted someone like Robert Griffin III that could run and throw decent because picking up first downs with your legs is something that is sorely needed in today's NFL. Derrick Johnson and Tamba Hali are having huge years. The NFL is very equal right now with only the Saints and Packers looking good, and we just saw that the Packers are very beatable on the road. Pitt State won the national championship, wait until the Griffons hang that banner next year. Dayton more shit on christmas for Royals by signing Yuni Bentencourt again, but I am not going to cloud my mind by thinking of that piece of shit right now. Instead I am going to think happy thoughts...like feeding the ducks at Krug Park.

Thursday nights

Yesterday was a pretty good night, hung out with Joe P, Kris V, and Jason R. We went to Perkins like we always due on tuesdays and thursdays. I decided to sing Jingle Bell rock at full volume. I got the short stack. It was like biting into a dreamy cloud. My Fifa 12 season is coming along nicely. By that I means I suck total ass at the game. It is a very good game though, I am putting two hours into it probably a day and it is fun, not drudgery as the game BRUTAL LEGEND was.

If there is one thing that I am thankful for, it is the fact that I can reconize that sometimes I start trouble just because I am bored. I used to start shit when I was bored, but I did it without noticing it. I would get into arguments or start flirting with girls, not because I liked them but just because I crave drama. I don't even enjoy the feeling it gives me, it just gives me A feeling. Anywho...Kristen gave me the "lets just be friends" speech, citing that she lives in Topeka and I live in KC as the reason, but the real reason is she just has low "IL" interest level. It is all good though, we had a fun run of texting and she is very funny. The times that I would text her about my chinese stickers on my acura were the best.

Friday Wrapup

Kristen (Tina Fey) asked me to go out to the Plaza yesterday. Sure why not I told myself. So I go down there to an Irish pub and it was packed. She had been drinking and her and her brother were hanging out. We mingled for sometime, she once again told me we can only be friends because she lives in Topeka, which is cool. I then got the number of this girl name Sarah who is a nurse and was very very good looking. Tall, blonde, shortish hair, so I know I still got some of my game. I asked Sarah random questions, like if she rides horses, and when she rides horses does she use a English accent. I also explained my scavenger hunt date from which we have to take pictures of a surfboard and a horse and other various items. It was a good day and the plaza was full of dudes that work out and hot ass girls, plus the music and the lights were good. I am too old for all that nonsense though honestly, people were drunk and falling down and spilling shit on my nicest clothes, much like Holts Hall in St. Joseph. It is a nice place, but I wouldn't want to stay there.

On a sidenote KCCAULDRON, Kei Kamara, CJ Sapong all retweeted me, which is pretty cool because they don't ususally retweet everyone. I drew stick figures of Kie Kicking a ball and worms coming out, and CJ Sapong with a briefcase because my nickname for him is "all Business"

Fifa 2012 and other sporting topics (pun Intended)

Fifa 2012 is bad ass. I should have some clips of me playing, but for now I am getting my ass kicked. They got most of SKC correct exept Sapong is way shitty. Of course they probably didn't know he was going to be Rookie of the Year. The Royals are supposed to be getting Roy Oswalt. I guess we we will see about that. Holy shit. If you like Mastadon. Friday

It is Friday, which means the weekend is upon us. Time to relax and get caught up on what has been up. My birthday was last weekend, and I hung out and watched Always Sunny, Boardwalk Empire, and some random Airplane show called DogFights. It was really fun. On Sunday I drove over to Lawrence to eat for my birthday. This Mexican place over there has good burritos and good chips. You don't really know how good a mexican place is until you have a bad one. I had Dos Real over on 75th and Metcalf and that place was below average. Mi Ranchito is bad ass, El Mezcal is ok, and Dos Real is not good. Anthony Bourdain is filming over at Oklahoma Joe's which is awesome. He is an asshole New York (New Jersey?) man but he knows his shit. I can't wait to see a Gas/Station on the travel channel. It was listed as one of the 10 places to eat before you die. The BBQ is excellent but holy dick if you go there and get the gumbo it is good (But spicy.)

Joke Writing

Wrote a story today about a man who takes his old cabinants to a donation center, and how he felt really good about giving away his cabinants because they were worth money. In truth they weren't worth shit, then they didn't act in a way that he felt they should be, because these cabinents were WORTH something. Then Frustrated in the fact of the way people act, he ends up throwing the cabinents away...where they belonged all along.

Pujols

With Pujols getting a billion dollars over in California, I think it is a good time to talk about what Pujols does that sticks out to me. I first saw Pujols back as a rookie, where he hit one into the Royal Bullpen. Deep into the bullpen. I am talking Tim Salmon Territory. That was of course only the beginning. Pujols balance is what sticks out first and foremost. He has the ability to generate insane bat speed while not seeming to over swing. He has a great eye, he hits the ball to all fields, and he hits the ball to all fields with IRON MAIDEN type of awesomeness. His homerun off of Brad Lidge has made for many of internet MEME's. He worked hard on his fielding skills and has played LF, 3rd, and of course 1B. He has put up eye popping numbers year after year and he is a tought guy to hate. I remember Buddy Bell talking about how the most important thing in the upcoming series is to "keep Pujols in the ballpark" Albert hit three homeruns, one on a slider low and away where he seemed to poke it over the right field fence. Where Belly Butler seems to throw all his grits and tits into a swing only to have the ball come up 20 feet short. Pujols nice easy swing seems to always have the ball go 100 feet over the wall.

Wednesday

At work we have been behind since Thanksgiving. Having two days where no one is in our department always sets us back until the New Year. I have been working longer hours than ususal, but they really aren't that long considering other companies. I went to Perkins back to back days. On tuesday, Chris and I chatted and Sonya Sara and other randoms were there. Yesterday Perkins had Cody, Sara, Ann, Wally, Joe, Lucas. We were talking and for some reason Wally really loved that I called someone Paige Turner. Wierd that I can always go on joking just killing jokes but she laughs at the wierd shit. Ann drank tea which is very fitting since she is Asian. I am surprised she didn't order a panda, she did need someone to order for her. Which is funny because I explained to everyone "that is her culture. Asian stereotypes are fun" I called Chris to go to Perkins yesterday, but he declined.

Weekend Update Welcome to Mario world

On Friday I worked really hard, felt satisfied with the amount of work put in then headed home. I then hung out with Chris, Justin, and some other randoms for an hour. I ususally go over and go out to eat with Cody, but I really had to get a walk in. So I walked and just chilled. Saturday I woke up, did some laundry went for another walk, got some chicken breasts from Hi-Vee along with other stuff. I went to baby sit Cortland, he was good, he just watched YOUTUBE videos all night of other people playing mario world. I ate a bunch of chicken strips and watched the SEC Championship game. LSU is an awesome team. Awesome recruits, players, and pretty good coaching (LES MILES EATS GRASS BEFORE EVERY GAME) It was a pretty good night and everyone had fun. I woke up drove back to Lenexa and I listened to the Metal station on SIRUS. I heard old Mastadon song from 2001 which was awesome. Old Mastodon was so Brutal, the new stuff is very progressive, but I like it as well. I ate some Hi-Vee thin mints then I went out to J-Murphs to hang with V, Charlie, Byrdman. We watched the Chiefs take home a Victory. I laughed my dick off when Kyle Orton came in for one damn play and got hurt. The Defense played well especially HALI, Houston, and Derrick Johnson. I home we get Robert Griffon III or a qb, because our team is stacked exept for the one place we need it most (The QB).

Royals News. I guess the Royals have been shopping Will Myers around for more pitching. Will Myers is supposed to have PLUS power and Average...then Just be Ok in the field, on the bases, etc. When he was drafted everyone thought he was going to be the next Rocky Calavito, but of course there was only one Rocky Calovito.

Jeff Francoeur..Red Neck and Salesman

Ex-Met Jeff Francoeur admits he is not a good hunter, but he is one heck of a salesman.

Francoeur recently went bow-hunting with free-agent closer Jonathan Broxton in Georgia on the property of comedian Jeff Foxworthy, along with Royals manager Ned Yost, and helped convince the big right-hander that Kansas City would be a much better landing spot than the Mets or anywhere else.

I have been keeping a light eye on this situation. I know nothing about Brox the Fox. Will know more once pitchers and catchers report.
