Caps top Penguins in overtime

In the NHL you get a point for losing in overtime. Yay we lose but we are all winners. So makes me feel all warm inside that *Mah Team Trieded Harded* There was an interesting altercation that I can't wait to explain later on, but as Bearcat Described on chiefsplanet.com Beagle vs Asham in the Pens/Caps game... Beagle won't be picking another fight with him any time soon.

Tuesday forgot some details.

On Tuesday my mom was hanging out in Lawrence, so I took the day off to go over there. Queens of the Stone age is the obvious choice for a road trip. We ate at El Mezcals and chatted about the movie "Bridesmades" I then ate my sisters ice cream and drive back to Shawnee for the USMNT game. The whole day was very nice, crunchy leaves, cool weather. Fun days.

Thoughts on Sporting KC's Friendly

Thank you Omar Bravo for setting up this friendly. Mexican fans invaded Livestrong park and the place was rocking. I heard the field looked better, but Loskie wrote on my Facebook that it still looked like shit. The good thing about Friendlys and it gets the young guys in and develops them. The young guys did score, but I don't have the name infront of me. SKC continues their run this weekend against the New York Red Bulls. There is a guy that plays for The Red Bulls named Flurry or something. He is probably a big deal. Collin will probably not play this weekend because he logged an entire game yesterday. Should be the big boys this weekend.

Wednesday October 12th

Yesterday the Penguins won, even without Malkin and #87. That is good. I think they have aquired 9 out of the 10 possible points. That is great considering they are on a brutal road trip. The first 3 penguins games they all played at the opposing teams OPENING GAME. So they had to deal with the fan energy, the players feeding off the fan energy etc. I am pleased. Long way until the playoffs though.

U.S. National team. What can you say? They played like a rolling bag of dicks. Tim Reem was faked out and was beaten by his man on a crossing goal. Everyone else sucked. It was boring. The Mexico Vs. Brazil game was more exciting. The good thing me and Byrdman got out of the house (he flies in any weather) and we met some people from the Cauldren! Good to meet new people. There was a dude named, Issack, Jeff, Elmer, and Erin. So I hope to add them on twitter today.

Mizzou Same ole story

Missouri, always annoys me. Their bubble screens, they have their qb stand 10 yards behind the LOS. They always just rely on one on one matchups. They are getting their shit stuffed by some St. Joseph toughness today. The Blues and The Penguins play tonight. I should be able to get the Blues in HD. So we will see how that goes. Texas got killed today, and there was a god aweful call against an LSU punter. Terrible. Notre Dame is handing Air Force. IRONY ALERT, Air Force always runs the ball. That is ironic because they are the AIR FORCE. Verlander starts tonight, it is just the best time of year for sports.

Thursday

Penguins won yesterday in a shootout. The game was fast, I forget how fast opening night in hockey is and in the playoffs. Malkin looks like an beast, a beast that plays hockey. Looking forward to a good season. #87 is getting ready to come back, but I have a feeling he is going to get hit hard again and that will be the end of his run in th NHL.

The Chiefs play this weekend. Cassel is getting Hot right at the right time. 8-8 here we come. Also Jackie Battle is going to be an average running back, which is a step up from Thomas Jones. Bowe-Beast-Hali-Beast-Breaston-Beast.

Nascar is in Kansas, have't watched it lately, and I am a Nascar fan, they need to wrap up their season earlier than NFL. Yankees lost. Haha. Lose tonight St. Louis and that will make me a happy baseball fan.

Go local team and or community college

Tonight Sporting KC takes on a Mexican Club. The Mexican club is a Futbol team and not a Club Sandwhich. I am in favor of Club Sandwhiches. Extra Slice of bread in the middle, frlizzy tooth picks? Yes go club Sandwhiches, screw Mexical Club Futbol teams. I doubt anyone good even plays for SKC as tonight is a "friendly" I still hope they win. The US National team plays soon, but I am too lazy to look up when that is. Royals offseason is here, that means I am rooting against the Cards and the Yankees in the playoffs. The Chiefs week has been very quiet they play the Colts this weekend. I smell Victory for the Chiefs. Nascar comes to Kansas, and the Penguins open up on Thursday. Sidney Crosby won't be playing, but he may return soon. I suspect a 6 or 7th seed out of the Penguins this year. Dan Byslma can coach and wins even without Sid The Kid and Malkin the...well whatever Malkins nickname is. Testing in nascar this week is in Phoenix. I think they are using fuel injected cars to test at Phoenix, yes...now nascar officially has technoligy that rivals a 1988 buick Rivera instead of a 1970 Camaro. NBA probably won't be playing this year, that means I will be having a closer eye on Tigers basketball and KU. Mizzou is probably going to leave the Big 12, which is good, everyone can now get paid and laid without Texas taking all the money...
