Royals and MWSC wins and SKC this weekend

This weekend is a good one to say the least. I am looking forward to some Soccer and College football. I have no idea who SKC is going to roll out there on Saturday. I hope Nevin plays. Nevin is a guy from some country that sounds like you are sneezing when you say it's name. Instead of calling the dude Nevin...I am going to roll with the nickname "The Party Starter" So in short. I hope "The Party Starter" plays this weekend and does well for Sporting KC. Missouri Western won in ugly fashion and the Royals continue to kick ass. I am hoping for a .500 finish! It would take alot but stranger things do happen. Felt pretty good today. I still am just trying to have a positive attitude and trying to be of service to others. Over the last couple years just having the attitude of service has changed so many interactions in my life. There were so many times when I had a ME attitude in my younger days that it cost me money and time. Now when I focus on being of service it seems like everyone wins.

Mo West all over the mules

28-0 so far. Complete ass kicking so far.

Wednesday Thursday morning

Wednesday went ok. I had a Mid-Year review at work. I am not meeting some of my goals which is not easy to look at, but I felt pretty good that I didn't have a negative attitude about the whole thing. I think if I keep working and keep praying everything is going to work out. I can't control outcomes but I can embrace what God gives me with a good attitude. Wednesday night was crazy...people out there are mentally crazy. I am constantly getting messages from this universe that I am not a big deal. I don't really want to go into it on my blog but we have had two deaths that really hammer home prospective in my life. B's be crazy as Bryce says. Ok now all my problems are always of the same variety romances and finances.... This didn't bother me that much but Becca sends me a text yesterday. "Just wanted to know that I think you are rad, I am glad to know you" this is a rare text from her since she is an ice queen most of the time. Now if I was 21 I would probably think she likes me finally, but because I am old, crusty, and cynical, I just took this text message to mean. I am bored at work and something Ray did made me laugh. So that is where we are at folks. In summery my main job is to pray and embrace what life gives me, and also pray for others...especially the b's that be crazy.

Tuesday

Tuesday was pretty relaxing. SKC is trying to keep Roger Espinoza which if they lose them they will be screwed for the playoffs. Basically some mid table English Premier team is trying to buy him. Teal Bunburry has a torn ACL so SKC needs all the help they can get. Royals won yesterday and Moose Tacos had a big night. I am holding out hope they get to .500 but that would take them tearing up this last month. Doing good this morning, I haven't been pissed off in the mornings as of late because I take time to pray and count the things that I have that Africans don't have. I think a poor person over in 3rd world country would be happy to have FIFA 10' for xbox 360....just something to play, but over here I am blessed to have Fifa 2012 for xbox 360. I am also glad for showers, although I don't smell great, atleast I feel decently clean. I also can wear cotton trousers by brooks brothers. That makes my body feel good.

random sports things

Missouri Western plays at 6 pm on Thursday. Looks like I will be watching or listening to that game in Lenexa. I have no idea who is on that team except for David Bass. David Bass is a athletic pass rusher in the mold of Jevon Kearse. As far as my NFC team the Eagles, I think it is business as usual. Good offense a questionable Defense and I think the Giants win that division. I like the Falcons to win their division. The 49ers to win their division. The Texans win their division and Chiefs win their division. The Patriots win their division and The Giants win another super bowl. I think The Giants always play physical and Eli Manning knows how to win. Winning is a habit and what goes in motion stays in motion. What wins consistently continues to win

Monday

Monday is gone and it is another step closer to Friday. Closer to seeing Wil Meyers in right field and of course closer to football. Yesterday I hung out with Raymont for a bit. He had good things to say about everything as usual. I went to Black Dog. Becca was working, but I have been to focused on Springfield and work to really say much to her. She did stay awhile after her shift to talk to me but it was nothing big, she hugged a guy with a backwards hat and it really didn't bother me today because I was in a good mood. I also know myself as a person is not a finished product. I keep working and praying I will be a more attractive person to females, money, and peace. If it came down to it peace is all I really want. But you know a nice alt girl with tattoos and a bunch of mp3s would be nice as well. Sporting KC is going on this Saturday and Matt said he is coming in town. I just saw his brother on Saturday/Sunday so I am ready to see the whole family I guess!

Little things mean the biggest difference

I offered to take pictures for a family that was struggling to all fit into a picture the other day. I took great joy into helping a family all be in one picture. It is always smallest things that give you the piece of mind. It is always the sacrifice that gives you results. Don't be an asshole and you get piece, keep your mouth shut when your opinion isn't needed, you get peace, sacrifice some TV time to texting someone you love them, or sacrificing some TV time to go for a walk, you get results. It is just amazing to me what a simple amount of EFFORT and WORK can do for your life. I really enjoy to see people not cut corners and getting success. Sometimes it comes in the form of athletics other times it comes in the form of just grinding through the day. Life is a beautiful ride sometimes.

SKC and other stuff

Sporting KC is beat up right now. No Peterson, Convey, and now Teal is out. Yesterday Kamara had two goals, one for his team and one for the Red Bulls. V-Foundation and I went out to Livestrong Park to support Lance Armstrong and to scream at people. We did that very efficiently. It was a nice ending to a weekend full of video games, chicken strips, and laughter. At one point I was wearing brooks brothers pants drinking a high end brand of soda in a hotel room and I thought to myself. "Wow I have come along ways since the days of wearing just dockers pants, now I am stepping it up to Brooks Brothers pants!" I am thinking about getting that hotel room again sometime so I can check out minor league baseball and walking to 1984 again. I love me some old school video games. Especially "Spy Hunter" Sporting KC is still at the top of the Table in the east, but it doesn't look like they are going to win the supporter shield. Either way it has been a fun ride.

Friday and Saturday In Springfield.

Yesterday in Springfield I was able to walk to 1984. I have been wanting to go to this place for years. It has classic games and classic pinball. It had a bunch of 80's music and 80's commercials playing all over and great retro style video game art. The star of the show was a full sit inside Empire Strikes Back video game. I played pinball a ton and it was fun. There were a bunch of nerds in there, most of which were like the "Comic Book" guy off of the Simpsons. After that I headed back to my hotel and chilled. We ate great food yesterday as well. There is a place called China Wok that had this hot and spicy chicken dish. It was very good. The other boys had a wild night but I kept it low key and I had a great night and slept very well. While out for a walk I noticed a family trying to take a picture of each other, but one person is always left out when taking the picture because someone has to take the photo. I was nice enough to offer my assistance. They were all in the photo together and they offered me a daughters hand in marriage for my good deed but I declined, but counter offered if they had a Fazoli's gift card. They didn't have that so I decided a stern handshake was a reward enough.

Springfield day 1

Thursday was ok. Work and then I went to V's house where Byrdman was pecking around and Gilpin showed up. The drive down was ok, we went to Brendons house and he made some awesome food and we dicked around until we all fell asleep. I wope up at 5 am because I was kinda of sore. I walked around Hammonds field and some parks in springfield. Our Hotel is pretty damn nice and today I got my own room. It is nice to be able to not live in a semen rat infested shithole. Bryce and I finally sat down and watched "The Big Year" We are huge bird watchers as everyone knows. I am currently watching bridesmaids. This movie cracks me up.

Wacky Wednesday

Wednesday was ok. I worked my long day then I went to target to pick up some Sporting KC tickets on the cheap from some dude. Then I met up with Raymont to talk about what is going on with my life (which is not much just work and sports). This weekend is the Springfield trip and it should be filled with beef jerky and farting. I am hoping to play some retro video games like Donkey Kong, but we shall see what goes down. I met up With a girl that I like from black dog..at...you guessed it Black Dog. Sometimes she seems to like me, sometimes she can't be meaner. I am just taking it as she likes hanging out with me, but not as a boyfriend. I am good with that, I don't mind having a girl that is just a friend around cause they are easier to look at and don't fart as much as my beef jerky eating friends. They were shooting a commercial at Black Dog yesterday and there was a niiiice looking actress sitting there, I went over and chatted and asked if she wanted to be "Famous" she laughed and then dismissed me. If there is one strong suit I have is the balls to talk to people. That is what made it so weird I couldn't get a picture with Joe Randa at Buffalo Wild Wings. Ugh still kicking myself! Oh well going to work today and then off to "The Elder Statesmen Wedding"

Tuesday night

Tuesday night was pretty good. Kris came over for awhile and we watched a lame episode of CSI-Miami. The Royals won. I am entering a tough portion of my FIFA schedule for XBOX-360. I am not deep at all because I don't understand how to resign players. So I have a 16 year old boy from Ireland playing wing. I am still in the top 4 of points I just have to get some players during the transfer window. I love my digital fake xbox 360 team. Today is a pretty good day, just enjoying a peaceful Wednesday.

Hoch vs. David Price

What really can you say about this game? It was really well played. Hochaver showed why he was once an #1 overall pick. Hosmer came up with a big knock and Holland shut the Devil Me's out. I am hoping the Royals have an outside chance to get back to .500 their starting pitching as been great as of late. Go Royals. Finish out the season strong. Watched breaking bad. That show is awesome...and I watched baseball tonight. Evidently Roger Clemons is coming back to a semi-pro team? Wow that is crazy, I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it all the way back to the majors, because he as a fat ass. Pitchers with a fat ass always generate good velocity.

Also what the hell is up with Bristol and Nascar fans? So Bristol used to have all this shit go down because everyone would wreck the hell out of everyone causing millions of dollars of damage to cars and the track, so they changed the groove up top to make the "Groove" better so you could race side by side. The racing was cleaning and I thought more interesting because I value side by side racing more the wreck-fests. Now they shaved the groove up at the top down again because people Want more wrecks. That is a cluster of a situation for sure. I guess you have to give people what they want. Which I guess is more wrecks.....I guess that is who is paying the money.

74% of sucess comes from just showing up

I think that 74% of success just comes from showing up. Now Woody Allen once said that 75% percent of success comes from showing up. I for one think Woody Allen is a dumb asshole. So I am going to say the actual percent of success is 74% I am going to now list my favorite 311 albums from most awesome to complete poop. Music Grassroots Blue Soundsystem From Chaos Evolver and I am still trying to decide where the new one fits... I would probably rank it as average.

Tuesday

Tuesday was pretty good as far as Mondays is concerned. I am glad I have a roof over my head and I am not eating out of a dumpster. That is good news. Chiefs lost Tamba Hali, Brandon Flowers, Kendrick Lewis, and Paul Rudd is now forgetting about being a Chiefs Fan and is wearing Steelers gear. So it has been a sucky week for the Chiefs. The good news is I didn't think they were going to win their first game anyway. So hopefully Tamba Hali comes back after his time off pissed off. The Royals lost yesterday infront of a pathetic crowd in Tampa Bay. 9,000 people for a playoff team? Come on man!

peaceful Monday Mornings

Today is a peaceful Monday morning. I got my blue hoodie in check with another on deck in case I spill some cola on it. The guys and I went out to black dog yesterday. It wasn't pretty how many times we cussed and farted. That is what guys do and it is beautiful thing. I can't wait until Vinnie's betting blog opens up. I am going to tailgate for his blog then I am going to choose the eagles and the chiefs to win every game.

Sunday and Saturday. 311 Is down.

Saturday started with me going for two long walks. It was very nice out and a great way to reflect on a hard work week. I tried to get my friend Becca to go to 311, but she didn't want to go. I then went to watch SKC at V's house and they won. They really took care of business. It wasn't pretty but it was 3 points. Royals won and Billy Butler got three hits. Bryce and I went to 311, Slightly Stoopid, and The Urge. It was very relaxed and fun. I didn't get pissed off and Bryce had a great time. My sister got us some Urge Schwag that was signed by the band. A good day all around.

Saturday

I woke up in the middle of the night and enjoyed a nutty bar. It was actually a generic nutty bar but it was delicious all the same. I tried to get a good nights rest in yesterday because I was grumpy on Friday because of the lack of sleep I got Thursday. I didn't get to sleep early as I would have liked as I tossed and turned, but I woke up Saturday feeling O.K. and I went for a walk. I also booked a Hotel for my Springfield trip. I am going to do what I can to get a room that way if I feel not comfortable around the strangers and boozing I can go back to my room where I can fart and eat snacks of the salty variety. Sporting KC plays today but I don't really have a read on how they will be doing. Toronto sucks, but who knows what will happen. The MLS is a league where anyone can beat anyone because of the lack of Star Strikers. I know one thing. Matt Besler is my homeboy. Today is 311/Urge/Slightly Stoopid. I am not excited bet but I am sure I will be.

Hot Cold Hot cold.

Woman can be so hot and cold it is awesomely frustrating to say the least. I know what I can do though. I can understand I can't control people. I can dress decent and work out, and I can maintain a positive attitude. 311 and The Urge this weekend. It really hasn't hit me that I am going to see the urge for the first time in 12 years. I have seen them 20 times or so. They were my jam for so long and provided me with a bonding force. Instead of being a fan of the chiefs or sporting kc I was really a heavy fan of The Urge. I can't wait to go out there and be silly and have fun. I had my ups and downs this weekend, but overall I think I came out ok. I had a tough time coping, but drinking a bunch of diet pop and coffee helps me cope. I also pray a ton. I understand that work and work and funtime is funtime. So I ask God to "let me feel what I am supposed to feel" and he usually lets me feel like I am working. With that comes pain, but with that also comes money that I can buy tons of Wendy's Baconators with.

Waking up

Today I feel better than yesterday. Probably cause USA beat Mexico in Soccer. That gap between Mexico soccer and United States soccer is closing. Zusi saw some action, which was sweet. Got me some black dog coffee today and I am ready to be productive.

Working through Anxiety

Sometimes when I wake up I just have anxiety. It is usually deep seeded fear that I will have to go through some sort of pain in the future. I also have a fear that no matter how hard I work out and diet I will never have a Gerald Butler type of body. I have a fear of not having a decent house as well. The good thing is I can be honest what my fears are and make sure I am doing my best towards my vision and goals. Then I have to let go. I truly don't have much power over much in this world. I can be positive though and help other people. I bought some people some coffee yesterday and even though that didn't make me feel great I understand that just because I don't feel well doesn't mean I can't contribute to this world. So today is going to be better as my mood changes from arrrrrg to gratitude. I am really thinking hard how I am lucky I live in America and how in 3rd world cities like Atchison they are forced to wear bananna peels for shoes and listen to sawyer brown .

Tuesday

The Royals won today. Billy Butler is doing awesome. Mike Trout is a white Bo Jackson.

My T-Shirt Idea for the ladies of Sporting KC

Have Besler, Meyers, and Colin on the shirt and have it say. "We want the D" If you don't know what "She wants the D" is google it.

Hello and welcome to Monday. Weekend was good. Billy Butler is on fire. Sporting KC back in first place. All is good. I know my week will be tough, but with a championship type attitude I will ok.

Random stuff about the last two days

The last couple days have been a blur. Black Dog with the guys, reading about Sporting KC's Open Cup Victory and working. Here is what I know. If you are a young guy "Hit on every girl ever" yesterday I went over and talked to a girl and I almost didn't go over there because she had what looked to be engagement photos on her phone. I figured it was her in the pictures, it wasn't. I pushed through me being a pussy and spoke to her and we had fun. I didn't have sex but the night was more fun. I could tell her friend (who looked like Allison Bree) probably wanted the D. I then met up with Red McIrish at Saints and we all had a good time. Byrdman likes to wet his beak into some alcohol and I just hung out with a diet coke and enjoyed the night. Tonight's SKC game is with Handball United. I hope we win and it should be fun.

Chiefsplanet thread "Someone tried to beat me up at work"

There was a thread on chiefsplanet.com about a guy getting threatened at work. Most people wanted the dude to take the basic steps in protecting himself like call HR tell a supervisor. I went on to post about how to handle the situation if this situation happened to take place in St.Joseph

*****posted by ChiefsFan99***

I need some advice here.

The other night at my workplace, I was involved in a verbal argument with a co-worker, (with my co-worker doing most of the yelling). He had an issue with the way I was doing something at work, and absolutely laid into me with a verbal assault laced with profanity.

I tried my best to ignore him, but he kept at it. Finally I turned around from my work, and told him to "shut the **** up". He got in my face, and said "this isn't over- we'll finish this in the parking lot after work".

Keep in mind I am about half his age, half his size, and he's the one yelling about how we will finish this after work. (Seems a little childish to me.) He stayed in my face for a minute or two yelling profanity, with no supervisors or any other co-workers stepping in to stop him.

I felt threatened enough that I left work, and even made a police report about the incident. (I want my bases covered in-case he ever does anything physical) The officer went into my work and warned the employee, and basically told him to back off, and that if he kept it up I could indeed press charges.

What is my next step here? I am trying to cover my ass because this worthless get me by job is just a temporary thing until I start my career. Is there any other actions I should take?

Demonpenz: It Depends if you are in St. Joseph or not. I know in St. Joseph I would probably change to a different shift so you are waking up and going to work when he is getting off. So you won't be tired. So just spot him in the parking lot Then you wait until he is getting into his 89' Chevy pickup and knock on his glass. You can give him the Ole Southside Sandwhich once he rolls his window down (manually) Just try to grab him by his Sara Lee Lanyard and Just punch him over and over. If he tries to go to his gunrack to get his rifle it might be time to roll out of there. Other Wise you can stop punching him and see if he wants to get out and really rumble. Lots of times I get tired punching a guy through a truck window because it is hard to punch and Jump alittle bit and the dude is ususally trying to get away and he ends up in the passenger seat trying to kick with his feet. Make no mistake about it, you have kicked a hornets next when you do the truck punch. So when Earl Gets out of his pickup make sure he has time to put the cigs and coffee cups back on the dash before you fight. Now most people will go with heymakers because it looks awesome, I would recommend you go with the heymakers because most of the people including Rhonda will be out watching the fight by then. Win or Lose you are required to go to the Brown Bear Tavern and buy the boys around cause you "Still got it"

Demonpenz:If you ever want to go to the Southside festival again you need to settle this in the parking lot. Make sure you DON'T wear your good jeans. Use the jeans you are most likely to go water skiing in or to church in. Just swing first and know that that beer is going to taste really good. Now your only choice is what koosie do you choose "These colors don't run" or "Freedom isn't free"

Demonpenz: I remember one time doing some 2nd shift thumping. I figured I really lay a whoopin on this dude cause he played JV Football and I was all-district. It turned into a real wrestling match and Rhonda had her cell phone out. Her camera was one of those flip phones so it didn't have good quality of the Beating I was laying down, it just looked like we were doing something homo-erotic. So Rhonda tags me in facebook with me in this fight with this dude and just comments "Demonpenz likes dudes" (It got 4 likes) so my proud moment turned sour on me.

Open Cup Victory

Wednesday went well. I wasn't nervous about the SKC game, because just like The Chiefs and Royals, I expected Sporting to loose in heart breaking fashion. I had hope of a cool night and hanging out with my dad. My expectations were low to say the least. I showed up early to the game and my dad was waiting for me. We walked around and I wanted real food not Sporting hot dogs or sporting burger or whatever the hell they call the food at LSP. We went to Aurther Bryant's and it was good. Stick to the beef brisket when you are there. The game itself was awesome. It was dramatic and it was a game full of glory. It was very loud. Jimmy Nielson is going to be a legend in this town. Roger Espinoza came back from the olympics and played 120 minutes. Eddie Johnson was a piece of shit for the Wizards and I was glad to see him blow the penalty kick at the end to lose the game. Overall one of the greatest victories I have seen in person. It was almost as good as Jackson Browne at sandston.

Chiefs and how the season has to play out to get to the Superbowl

Here is the official guide for the Chiefs to go to the Superbowl. The defense has to be elite. Hali and Houston have to have a shitload of sacks. Poe up front has to be a monster, Eric Berry has to play like Derron Cherry, Flowers and Route play well, Derrick Johnson has to play like Derrick Brooks. Cassel can play at the upper end of his game and the WR core can play upto its potential. Baldwin plays like like Andre Johnson, Bowe comes back and just plays at a Bowe level, and Breaston catches balls. Moeaki plays to his level and Boss moves the chains. Running backs...Peyton Hills and Jamal Charles just have to be effective. They don't have to be leading sports center or anything with their preformances, but they need be average to above average. Our special teams with Dexter Mcluster and Arenis needs to play well, Colquit and Succup do their things. Denver Peyton Manning has to show his age or get injured. Raiders aren't very good and San Diego is on the downslope. Crushing injuries to the Steelers and Patriots force them to have a down year. The Jets implode (we know this is going to happen) the Bills don't take that next step. Houston Texans take a step back, Jags suck, all this paves the way for the Chiefs to get to the Superbowl. Unfortunately there is Green Bay in the superbowl and they kill the Chiefs and the Chiefs think they really have something in Cassel, and refuse to believe it was a fluke year, they stay with him until the chiefs fall apart and start to rebuild in 2014.

Sunday and Start of Monday

Sunday morning I took some stuff back to Byrdmans. Elder Statesman, Byrdman, and Y.D.F.C went to The Pick. The Pick is a BBQ place. I give "The Pick" a solid "B" on my traditional grading scale. "A" being OK Joes and "F" Being Mcdonalds McRib. Sunday afternoon I went to Lawrence and drank coffee. It was ok. I then rolled to black dog and hung out with Jason. It was alright as well. Time for a new week. Thank God it is Monday. I feel pretty good today. It is actually starting to cool off outside and that makes me feel good.

Saturday and other Stuff

Saturday I went over to the V-Foundation. He had cooked a giant steak and a baked potato. I was sneaking around his house because he has a new roomate. I thought it would be fun to peek around the corner and see if this new roomate was sleeping. He was rummaging through some stuff like badger. So I used the reflection off my phone to see what this new guy was doing. He was coughing and doing a good job of breathing heavy. I got bored of new room mate watching so I ate the steak. Byrdman and V-Foundation showed up and I found out it was a Stag Party for "The Elder Statesman" So that was a surprised. We went out to Maggies which is a eating place that is Mexican. It was authentic so I didn't really see lots of cheese or sour cream. I ate jalapenos that were stuffed and these weren't the kind you get from the store. No creme cheese cause they don't have creme cheese in Mexico and they were BLAZING. I got through 3 and I felt like shit. I was scared they were going mess up my entire day but I pushed through. We went to the Royals game and it was really fun. I was slightly worried that the amount of shots taken by the Stag Party folks was going to lead to someone getting sick or punched in the face, but once everyone got out in the heat it looked like it sobered them up enough to do an activity or two. The Royals lost and they look like shit bring up Wil Meyers bla bla bla. After the game we went to J Murphys and hung around. Mike M came down and we had some laughs and I spent good quality time with the boys. It was a fun night and happy Wedding day to "The Elder Statesman"

Friday Wrap up and Saturday morning

Friday after work I was a little bummed. I knew that it was just a phase but sometimes the end of the work week leaves me unsatisfied. I know through my journal that I have done some good things in the past week, so I understood that it was just my mood. So I pushed through and what do you know Jason texts me to go to Black Dog. Nothing puts me in a brighter mood like drinking the strongest coffee in Lenexa. We sat back and talked R+L approached some girls so he gets two points. It ended up being a nice night and I was able to get some sleep. On Saturday I woke up feeling great. I had a solid hour of just feeling as good as possible. I enjoyed it by taking a walk and listening to music. I was feeling the flow of life so I decided now was a good time to get my Jeeps oil changed. When you are feeling the flow things go well, I got my Jeep in and out in fast time and everyone was polite to me. I even asked out a girl in the waiting room and she shut me down, but it felt good. I think I am going to the Royals game tonight with Byrdman and V-Foundation. I hope SKC wins and I hope the Royals continue to play better. Dayton Moore is a dumbass and his situation with Wil Meyers is embarrassing, but I will leave that for now.

Thursday

Thursday went well. I was able to go for a walk, I was going to eat a bunch of hot dogs but instead I ate one hot dog and some veggies. So that was a win. I met a girl who had tons of health problems but still wanted me to "Call Her" I hung out with some friends. I met up with J.P. for awhile he seemed to be doing pretty good. Overall the ebb and flow in my life seems to be swinging to the positive as yesterday I felt better and today I feel better, but the week before I just dragged ass. I haven't really done anything dramatically different. I just think that is why you have to push through your crap because it either gets better or if it going good you have to get the max value of you feeling good. Oh and 75% of success is just showing up. The other 40% of success is not waking up at midnight to eat Hot Dogs. The Royals are playing better without Francour. Yost and Dayton are two ass pony's who suck the big one. Billy Butler continues to do what he does best. Hit a baseball extreme malice. I got a girls number who was in Taco Bell with these lines. "Hey...how old are you?" "Can I have your number" now that would probably work 1 in about 100 times and I came across the one. The girl was semi-cute but she had no car or phone. So that threw up red flags (Or the Meth flag as I call it) but it still made me feel good that I can go out in the world and have the guts to fail. Sporting KC plays New England this weekend (again) they need 3 points, but the big OPEN CUP FINAL game is on Wednesday. I like the direction my life is heading and I feel good about myself and my teams!

Stoke'd

Wednesday Bryce, Kris Von German, and I headed out to see a Friendly soccer match...Stoke City vs. Sporting Kansas City. Stoke City plays in the English Premier League which is considered the best league in the world. The Stoke Players were physically large. They looked huge compared to SKC. They are called "The Stoke City Potters" although Bryce pointed out that non of the players probably are even proficient at pottery. It was a tie game and rookie Dom Dwyer played which made me feel good. Kyle Miller scored a goal which is crazy because I have no freaking clue who Kyle Miller is. Overall it was fun and I had a parking pass which was very awesome. Looking forward to SKC winning the OPEN CUP

Tuesday wrapup

Tuesday was a another tough day to drag myself out of bed. I did so anyway...pushed through my day as best I could. Then it was off to St. Joseph to see the Chiefs with my dad. We had some laughs. I have seen pictures of a dude with a shirt that says. "THROW IT TO ME CASSEL" says the ground. Tamba Hali and Peyton Hillis are beasts and are going to truck the chiefs 8-8. Overall the day ended up being good as I saw something that looked like football and I got home to Lenexa safe and sound.
