Big Big Weekend

This weekend is rather large for me. First off Sporting KC goes into San Jose, where they will try to avoid gang members and get out of there with atleast a tie.

"Five Sporting Kansas City players are expected to join their respective national teams for international matches, the club announced on Thursday. Peterson Joseph, Craig Rocastle, Teal Bunbury, Shavar Thomas and Roger Espinoza have been invited to represent their countries during the upcoming FIFA international match dates, scheduled from October 7th through the 11th. "

Ole Teal Bunbury will be playing for USA! USA! So SKC loses some players but they should all be back for the final home game against the New York Subway piss mongers (or whatever the New York team name is).

Ok Missouri Western Plays The Joplin Tornado victims this weekend. For some reason we haven't beat Missouri Southern for awhile. That game is at 2:00 PM on Saturday.

The Chiefs try to Suck for luck on Sunday for the right for Andrew Luck. I will be there enjoying the tailgate and the sweet sweet barbeque smells of Arrowhead. Sgt. Morris got me some good tickets. Go Chiefs, suck or don't suck! We don't give a shit anymore!

Nascar. The Chase continues into Dover. I haven't been following much, but my guess there are a bunch of cars turning left with a bunch of rednecks watching them. Hopefully someone crosses the finish line with the last name Earnhardt so everyone can be happy. #88 Jimmy Johnson is low in the points. He doesn't have his shit together and *gasp* his 6th title is in trouble

Lasting Memoires of the 2011 Royals

What I will remember the most is Hosmer coming up and mashing right away. We had Kila at first, and Billy Butler sometimes at first. It was just pure rubbish over there until Hosmer came up. I also will remember going to a bunch of game down the stretch. The team really came together, it is a young team, really young. The lineup will look like the 29 Yankees in 10 years. People will be saying "That was the best lineup every formed by the end of 2012" Salvador Perez, what can you say about the guy? He is the mexican johnny bench! As a 21 year old rookie he was second in the league at pickoffs and he drove the ball out of the ball park to all fields.

Sporting KC in first place

Yesterday I was excited for the Soccer game between the Columbus Crew and the Kansas City Sporting. The game was hard faught and Columbus missed a couple of brilliant chances. Mendoza from the Crew missed two glorious chances, the game was decided by a header that went off of a Columbus striker and into his own goal. KC got a break to go their way. CJ Sapong also took the ball hard to the goal and was fouled inside the penalty area. Kia Kumara was elected to kick the penalty shot and he scored early in the game. Oh Goodness me was the crowd electric at Livestrong sporting park. Next up is the San Jose Earthquakes who sporting should pound into the cement violently. Teal Burnberry didn't play this game so he should be very fresh for the next game. I bet they start Teal and Bring C.J. in second half. Ole.

SKC

Tonight is a large game for Sporting KC. We are going to have to get 3 points to stay in the payoff hunt. I am excited as all get out, although I can't go I will be rooting once I get off there. Ole Ole Ole! Teal Burnberry, Grant Zuzi, and C.J. Sapaung better score a goal a piece.

Taco Tuesday

Today I woke up, I had a bit of a cold, which I have had off and on for the better part of two weeks. They key for me when I have a cold is just to keep a positive attitude. It's just a common cold, I don't have aids, or cancer, or play for the L.A. Clippers. Everything is going to be O.K. Sporting KC plays tomorrow, which I am sad that I can't go, but that is ok. I should be be able to watch the game, or atleast the second half on metro sports. I have no idea what to expect, Sporting was doing well as of late, but a cooled off. They started the year like crap so maybe they are coming back to where they are supposed to be. The Chiefs, ok so a dude on chiefsplanet had a bunch of .gif files up of Matt Cassel. Holy Shit does he miss some wide open players. It's not like there are defenders inpeeding his view either. Just guys running Wide the F open right down the middle of the field. My Goodness me are some of the dudes open. He also shits his pants once anyone gets near him. Terrible. I never thought a team would be worse than that team I saw the last year under Herm, but it looks like this one is it. I am ready to see Baldwin though. That will be nice to have some weapons on offense with Baldwin, Sexy Dexy, and Bowe. I think Herms last year we had Bowe, LJ, and Bobby Wade. So what we have now even with everyone on IR is slightly better.

Monday Night Football and Suck for Luck

This weekend wrapped up by me playing three games of Fifa 2006 world cup soccer. I never played this game, but it came with the xbox 360 I bought 3 years ago from a dude off chiefs planet. Landon Donovan is good in this game, and it gets my brain off of my various problems and crazy thoughts I have. Cassel sucks, I think he maybe hurt more than we know about, but man he sucked even when he was healthy. He has to do a crow hop just to get anything on the ball. It took a miracle catch from Breaston just to make it seem like the chiefs were in the game yesterday. That game just sucked to watch. With captain swing pass throwing it to mighty midget Dex the only thing I enjoyed was when I feel asleep after eating a bag of doritos.

Vick is getting killed

As I am typing this Vick is getting hit in the head more times than Tina Turner did during her Rollin' on the River tour. Andy Reid is not only bad at dieting, he also doesn't understand that he needs to run the ball more. Nascar second race of the chase is this weekend. Tony Stewart won the last race, which is the point of a the chase. A guy can barely get in the chase and he can end up winning the championship. Just like in most sports it is about getting hot at the right time to win the biggest prize. I don't necessarily like it, but I understand that is what generates hype. What I did this weekend. Ok Friday Byrdman, my dad and I went to Sporting KC. The game was ok, wasn't as good as the others. The tailgate was good. I had some brats, some cheddar brats, some pretzles. It was very nice that day. I am sure I really enjoyed it know that we will have to endure a tornado or blizzard soon. Woah sidenote Victor Cruz for the Giants just broke a huge play. Terrible tackling. Ok back to what I did this weekend, Sporting KC was fun, weather was good. Mizzou covered which was nice. Missouri Western got stomped, Notre dame won so it was an exciting weekend of football.

Game Day

This morning saw me grabbing my crap for the sporting kc game tonight. I was as excited as a dog with 16 peters meeting a dog with 16 vagina's! My day was well exept I forgot a large cup to put coffee in so I am using a bowl that you would ususally put Ramon noodles in to drink coffee out of. It is working surprisingly well. That leads me to a random txt conversation

I was talking about smacking this girl on the butt and it was boring. It only took 3 text's until that texting conversation was played out.

Girl:well I wouldn't want my butt to bore you
Me: too late, your butt is the tylonal pm of texting conversations.

that was ok

Went out to eat with some friends yesterday at Barleys Brewhouse. It was ok, I am sure the food there is badass, but I had already eaten a bit so I wasn't hungry. This waitress kept on staring at me and my friend Cody, a different waitress from a different section. Maybe she noticed my sweet Royals Jacket, maybe she liked Codys thread count on his extra clean shirt? I approached her, but she was confused. I asked her if she was looking our our direction because she is a Royals fan, or because she thought my friend Cody was hot. She was like, I don't remember looking at either of your directions. I am pretty sure she wanted the Scnitzel that wasn't on the menu if you know what I mean, either that or she wasn't looking our way at all. It was all good though, we had a laugh and left. Today I went to St. Joe and got my car looked at. The drive was dumb as 435 is dumb and platte city is dumb. The lady at car city chryster was alittle rough dealing with, but the guy actually doing the work was nice. Needless to say I couldn't get out of st joe fast enough. I fist pumped past Menards just in case Kevin was working. Tonight is Missouri Western game day, and I may get to sit down and read vinnies new blog about point spreads! Daveandvince.blogspot.com

Dirty Talk

Dear Demonpenz. I am having trouble talking to my man dirty. Can you give me pointers.

Demonpenz: I've never delt with a girl that did this well. They would text things like. "I want it bad!" Uhhh Ok what do you want bad? Nachos? Hell I want Nachos bad as well. We could have a 3 some Nachos, Tostada, and some fries or something.

Girl: No no what about give it to me hard. How else are you supposed to give it to me.

Demonpenz: Idk I ususally just say, give it to me randomly and quote the bible. that works for me

Girl: thx I will try that!

Sporting KC vs. Real Salt Lake review

On Saturday I decided to watch this matchup between Sporting KC and Real Salt Lake. I don't know anything about this Salt Lake Team, on first impression they had a dirty hippie named Beckham (no relation to the bend it like beckham fellow) This dirty hippie named Beckham bitched and moaned the entire game and was annoying as hell. There were some big black mexicans that played for Real Salt Lake and the game got out of hand early. People were getting their ass kicked away from the ball but the refs let it go. The commentators were agasp with how the game was reffed. I didn't really care because I don't know much about soccer other than if it looks like a foul it ususally is, if it looks like your being an asshole you get a yellow card, if your caught being an asshole twice you get kicked out of the game with a red card and suspended. If your an asshole to the goalie you get a red card. If you are a sliding asshole and you get the ball before you are an asshole to the player with the ball it is fair. In general there were a bunch of assholes running around during this game. Real Salt Lake played very well and played defense. I thought it was an exciting 1-0 game as both teams were kicking the shit out of each other. The RSL crowd was rowdy and they were beating on drums the entire game. I am not sure if they were even paying attention to the game, they looked like they had snorted a bunch of coke and just discovered Drums for the first time. I can't remember who scored the goal for Real Salt Lake, but I am sure he was a duechebag. There were no Red Cards for either team so that means I think that SKC will be awesomely awesome the next game out.

Dude. What the hell?

The Chiefs are the worst team in the league this year. Worse than Herm. The only difference is with herm they didn't have the horses. This year we have the horses, they are just injured. Charles, Moeaki, and Eric Berry should be thankful they aren't horses or Farmer Bryce would go out there and blast their face with shotgun to put them out of their football horse misery. I sure hope they are just trying to lose at this point to get Andrew Luck. The penguins seemed to tank twice, once to get Mario Lemieux and once to get Sidney Crosby. I don't have a problem with it, if the rules are set up to give you an advantage to lose, then you lose, you would be dumb not too. So get out there and suck balls chiefs. Suck them hard. Suck them one time for Andrew Luck!

The chiefs suck

Never in the 80's or 90's have the chiefs been this bad. Ugh.

Friday and Saturday

Friday was spent at work. Which wasn't too bad, this week we weren't busy, but I am sure it will be crazy soon. The Holidays are always busy because people are hanging out off work and getting paid for it. Friday night I met up with my buddy Cody and some other people. We went to a place called Taco factory by Waldos pizza. It looked alright,it just looked alittle cheap. Like one step up from taco bell but a step down from a sit down mexican restaurant. Now that I think about it, I may like it better than a sit down restaurant because dealing with waitresses and waiters isn't all that great. I will get back to that subject later. We came up with lots of jokes sitting around bs-ing. About if this is a taco factory, there has to be Taco factory Outlet Mall, where tacos are half off for being gently used. Or cheaper because they were the "floor" tacos. Taco Factory also sounds like a strip club where the strippers have a low grade fever. It was a good time. Saturday I drove up to St. Joseph to watch Missouri Western play a game of football. I just swung to the stadium earlier and watched them warm up and enjoyed game day. I took some pictures as my dad and I found a way to will the griffons to victory. I was really cold but I made it a point to stay the entire game. I don't know how many Mo West games I am going to get out to this year. I better enjoy them. I am glad I get to spend time with my dad, it isn't as cool as when Bryce and his dad went to spain to chase the bulls, but it is still a good time

Notre Dame notes

Last week Notre Dame went under the lights for a tough test against Michigan. Notre dame wore flowers on their helmets like idiots. They got beat like a bunch of idiots as well. Early on Notre Dame played with in the trenches, but like most games these days, the games are decided by the P-L-A-Y-M-A-K-E-R-S. Coaches blab about trenches, but if you got a guy who can go get it at WR a guy who can chuck it, or a guy that can tote the rock. You are going to tote a W to the Win column.

Positive Attitude

Over the years I have noticed myself getting more and more positive. I think it is awesome. Makes my day so much better. Yesterday I had my computer set up to come home and watch the eagles game. The game was choppy. Ok that sucks, lets try to work on it. No luck still choppy. Woke up this morning installed new drivers deleted some of the start up crap. Nope still choppy. I was frustrated for awhile, but I know wiether or not I get it fixed. I am still closer and closer to football. Either I willget this fixed, or it will pass the time until football comes on tv. I hope to have it fixed atleast by tuesday or wednesday so there is a game to watch that night, but for right now every day I can keep myself entertained and happy, is a day closer to gameday.

People in Lenexa and Olathe are different from St. Joseph. Whenever I see second grade pictures of peoples kids down here they are ususlly wearing polo's or sweaters. In St. Joseph kids would be wearing a Kovacs Fireworks T shirt with a Sack and save Hat for school pictures. Hell I wouldn't doubt it if half the kids wore their Barrel of Fun baseball Jerseys for their second grade pictures.

Blue Wednesday

Tuesday started as any other day. With me worried about a bunch of stuff that doesn't really matter. I plugged through it anyways. I got up and did the work thing until noon when I drove down to Brookside to get my teeth cleaned. Brookside is alittle bit of a drive, but I like the dentist and the people that worked there. Some younger lady cleaned my teeth and it was somewhat embarrassing because it seemed like my teeth were pretty crappy, but overall the dentist said my mouth was good (whoa I never want a dude to say my mouth is good) I left and headed out to see what I could do next. I wanted to go to the Royals game, but that was like 5 hours away. Well I headed into independence and hung out at a bookstore, I walked around, got a awesome Rueben at Clancys. Clancy's rueben is like Westport Fleamarket burger and OK JOES burnt ends, it is legendary. I ate there and I went to the game. I was inside the parking lot for what seemed forever, but it wasn't stressful, just boring. The game was fine exept for these dumb kids and parents letting their kids lean over the railing on the top row. I always hate it when kids fall to their death. It is the worst. My mom played on her cell phone, my dad and I cheered, Bruce Chen kicked ass. I missed a Gordon homerun when I was taking a piss, but that is ok. He will hit plenty more next year. Moose Tacos hit a long homerun that he barely swung at. Melky and Gio had nice plays. Just a nice win on a cool night at the K. Parking sucked after the game as I got lost and I drove around Raytown for awhile, they sent me out some way that I got turned around. Next time I am going to use my compass. Next year we are going to take home the World Series and it will be because my hard work in cheering on the team. Your welcome kansas city.

Fun posts from around Royals message boards

From kcroyals.com

Leftfield… Gordon has been locked in all year! Not only has he shown the talent that was supposed to be there for an number 2 overall pick, he is having one of the best seasons by a Royals of all time… tied for 17th at the moment with George Brett’s 1976 and 1981 seasons at a 144 OPS+, and per Baseball Reference, a 5.4 WAR, it would seem Carlos Beltran’s 2001 5.9 WAR will be passed… now he just has to stay healthy and do it again.

.......As long as Butler is in KC, we have one of the best designated hitters in the game... sure it would be great if he was faster, hit more home runs, or knew what hand to put his fielding glove on, but Butler is a lock to be one of the best hitters on this team the rest of the time he is in Kansas City.

From Ranyontheroyals.com

In almost every Royals game of the last 25 years, there has been at least one player in their lineup that didn’t deserve to be there – someone who was washed up, someone who was still productive but was too old to be a part of the next good Royals team, someone who had youth to dream on but not the talent to take advantage of it, or someone who was never that good in the first place. Whether it was David Howard or Jose Lind, Chuck Knoblauch or Neifi Perez, Terrence Long or Doug Mientkiewicz, Mike Jacobs or Jose Guillen – there was always someone in the lineup who it was difficult to root for. There was always someone in the lineup who deep in your subconscious you wanted to fail, because the more they failed, the quicker the Royals would give up on them and move on to someone who might be a part of a brighter future.

Today, for one of the few times in my history as a Royals fan, EVERYONE in the Royals’ lineup is a part of their future. I want to watch EVERYONE who comes to the plate. There are no bathroom breaks in the lineup anymore. I don’t care what the Royals’ record is – that alone makes this season a success of sorts.

Jokes

I was wondering why behind the seats in the very back of the jeep there is a kids seatbelt. Byrdman says "Well, the farther away from you they are the less they can annoy you"

September 10th and the Start of September 11th

I had a great time yesterday. Sporting KC opened a can of whoop ass on the Houston Dynamo. The Dynamo came out in uniforms that looked like the Tennessee Volunteers and on this particular Saturday they Volunteered to get their asses kicked. The time of possession seemed to be way in SKC's favor and SKC had more quality scoring chances. There were a couple Dynamo shots that came close and one that hit the west post. The Sporting KC is in first place and hopefully makes a playoff game to remember. Bryce and I got in some tailgating and that went well. In my mind I thought it was going to be a cluster F, but as long as I keep tailgating simple to hot dogs or hamburgers that can be cooked quickly, it should be pretty easy to come away with a tailgating victory. We had some Zarda beans to cook but no way to eat them up. So Byrdy said reminded me that "Beans to burn on the grill"

September 11th. I woke up today went for a walk and now just kind of chillin waiting for football to start. I might do some laundry and vaccum but nothing really planned. Falls are obviously a time to really be thankful to be alive.

Mizzou

Got to watch Mizzou on my new TV, I have watched a couple football games so far on this TV. It has been nice. The Combination vizio soundbar and HD work great. Mizzou still looks pretty good even though they lost. Their qb looks like a Wide Reciever playing quarterback, but overall he is doing pretty well for being so young. Blaine Gabbert, Brad Smith, Chase Daniel all are still in the NFL. That is a good place for your school to be at if your qb's are consistently sticking in the NFL.

Switching sports to the Royals. It looks like Country Breakfast isn't going to get 100 RBI's, but it has been a great year for Gordon, Butler, and Hosmer.

It was nice not getting sick for awhile. I always seem to have a cold or something during a good time of the year. I felt yucky on friday, but feeling good now the rest of the weekend is here

Friday, September 9, 2011

Piss my pants excited.

Tons of shit going on this weekend. Mizzou plays tonight. I don't know how they will do. Their new Black Guy QB looked to struggle throwing the ball, but looked awesome running it. I got tickets to Thee Sporting KC vs. Houston Dynamo tomorrow. I am pumped for that. Teal Blackberry will serve his suspenstion for SKC, so that is good that he gets that shit overwith so he can join SKC next week. Chiefs playing the Bills on 9/11 will be special. I am so excited I am almost shitting and pissing my pants while throwing up. I am not sold on Cassel. I think he is a tough guy but he kinda sucks throwing the ball. To win the superbowl you need a top flight qb, and he is not that guy. I hope Derrick Johnson dominates. DJ has had a solid Career with the Chiefs. Eric Berry will be King Kong+Derron Cherry this year. Richardson sucks at right tackle, Gaither will be over there when heathy.

Switching to the Royals to a second. This is what Deeznutz said on chiefsplanet.com "Damn near 20 HRs in a shortened n00b season? No doubt that Hosmer will eventually surpass the club's current HR record."

Thirsty Thursdays

This is a tribute to Ground Rounds Long Island Ice Tea's during my extensive career in boozing. I would bowl with my dad, Kevin, go home then go out with David. I don't ever remember being hungover or getting into trouble. That came later in life haha. I remember seeing Candice our waitress, I probably didn't tip or her enough. Sorry about that Jawhawk fan! It's not not boozing anymore just because I always hated seeing 30 dollar tabs on my debit card. I haven't seen a bar tab for a year or so, and now I see more tabs for cool shit like "ROYALS NACHOS 8:75!" I had the chicken Nachos at the royals game and they were pretty good. I was surprised. The K kicks ass these days, plenty of room, Eric Hosmer, country breakfast.....wait. THEY HAVE TO START SERVING COUNTRY BREAKFAST AT THE GAMES NOW RIGHT? Atleast a Billy Butler country breakfast burrito.

Francour Just threw a guy out from right field

I am surprised this doesn't happen more. I think there is an unwritten rules when you get to the majors you don't have to worry about getting thrown out running to first from the outfield. I get the vibe that it is bush league to even attempt to throw out a slowey from the outfield. I am sure Cecil Fielder would have been thrown out from left field if teams really paid attention or really wanted to show the world what a fat asshole Cecil Fielder is.Today a rookie got showed what it's like to get thrown out running to first from the outfield. It should have been his second hit in the majors, instead he got a large slice of humble pie, and a large slice of Francour WHOOP-ASS

Sporting KC

I have been interested in Soccer since my high school days. My buddies played it, it seemed kinda cool. I was watching the wizzards and now sporting kc as much as I can, because it is our hometown team. If KC had a watermelon eating team, I would probably have 3 jerseys supporting them. Anyway I finally got tickets and got to see superstars David Beckham and Landon Donvan play. The game was rowdy as hell, livestrong park was rocking. I understand not every game is like that, but you got superstars all over the field combines with a primetime game, you are going to get an awesome atmosphere. It was an impressive 2-2 tie. I love the way they come out on the field before the game, it is very FIFA like. Beckham made a nice pass to this black guy with a mohawk who scored right infront of our seats. Sporting KC got a penalty shot in stoppage time when a guy hit the ball with his han inside the box. It was a great time and I can't wait to go again.

Labor Day weekend

I started the weekend the right way, by taking more days off than needed. I first went and paid taxes on my new jeep. The Slogan "Jeep! Go anywhere, do anything!" apparently means I can go pay taxes and go pay alot of them. Thursday was tough, I sat around waiting to go to the Mo West game, then they lost. Blah. Friday my parents and I went to westport to watch my cousin Reed play in this new rock and roll these kids play these days. It was fun and the band was pretty good, especially for high schoolers. I had westport flea market burger and it was tasty. That made it so everytime I burped it tasted like that tasty burger. Saturday I watched Mizzou beat Miami and I went to the Royals game with my dad. Royals won. We went to the Royals game again on Sunday and they lost. Moose Tacos barely missed a grandslam that would have tied the game. Shelly Duncan hit two home runs. Monday is upon me and I am sad the weekend is over, but atleast I did a bunch of fun stuff. I am looking forward to college and pro football!
