The day is here. The very first Hosmas. The day Eric Hosmer was born in a stable with a baseball bat and a first basemens mitt. We have been waiting for this day for years, thank you Royals for finally drafting the right players and over paying them to get them here. We paid Hosmer a ton in the draft. Now we are reaping what we sow. What we sow is a first basemen who is gold glove ready now, and who will hit 40 homeruns eventually and ANCHOR this team for ten years I am very excited. The first of the season I was very leary of the Royals. I thought we were a couple years away. Now Hosmer is here, and he is batting 7th. I am hoping he just makes contact and finds a hole here or there and plays solid defense, he has the skill to be a left-handed Albert Pujols. Vinnie replied to me in txt format with this. "Hosmermania! whats the A's going to do with hosmer runs wild on them?" That is a good question. Remember when David Dejesus was our best player. He would be the 8th best right now. Lets go Royals.
