Positives about SKC and Royals

Start off with the positives. The crowd at Livestrong was rocking on Friday. Sporting KC has a bunch of shots on goals and barely missed putting one in the back off the net. They look like an upper level team. The Royals are playing well. Salvador Perez (Juan Bencho) looks like a hall of famer right now. He hit an opposite field homerun tonight that was impressive as hell. I am hopeful that Sporting can shake off these tough losses, maybe throw Saad in the mix at forward a bit and get back on track. So SKC lost, but I can only do what I can do. Go to the games and cheer along and enjoy my time. I think the Royals maybe in a stretch where they just mash. Butler, Moose, Hosmer, Perez, Gordon, then you throw Wil Myers possibly in the mix. That is a world series type of offense right there when they are clicking. About my day. This week was hard. I have been eating tons of Sunchips and working hard. I haven't been doing good managing calories. I want to say the Steak sandwhich and reuben I had today was 1800 cals alone. I have been working out, but I just see how miserable it is to keep my calories down low. It really messes with my quality of life, but you know you pay to play. I really have to feel for some of my friends that are female and a couple that are male that truely pay the price and go through pain to maintain a decent weight. The good thing is I have felt really good lately. I just have this feeling that rich or poor I have gone through so much crap in my life already that if I can do any task if I just ask for Gods strength and ask him to guide me, then I just do work. I've really been on this kick just to work as hard as I can, get home and get the apartment clean (this basically means vacuumed and no trash laying around) when I am done at around 8 I feel really good and relaxed. Onto music. I heard Smashing Pumpkins new song and I was pretty impressed. It sounded good and easy. Smashing Pumpkins always was getting more progressive and "Out there" for my tastes. Their newest effort is very ear friendly. I haven't heard the New Offspring album yet, but I may try that out. I really love Bombay Bicycle Club. Their song Shuffle is a good one. I am going to check out Lucero and Reverend Horton Heat this weekend.

Turn back the clock to 2000

The summer of 2000 was probably one of my favorites. I could drink underage because of my sister and Miguel Ram-Ram. So it was a mix of it being ok to drink until I puke, and the fact I was young and dumb. Another important aspect was that I could burn CD's. This lead to hours and hours of URGE, 2 Skinnie J's, and Shootyz Groove, being played on the CD player. We also had a nice little drunk shack over on Charles Street. I remember being beat up because we had no chicks, but it was always cool to go over and play some n64 and get some shitty air conditioning. Miguel was at his craziest during this period, pulling knives, dropping drugs into his mouth, I said no thanks to that, but it provided some interesting times. I also stayed up until 6 am most nights. I don't remember going to bed before sunrise once. I think the highlight was also going down to the OZARKS where we got in a shitload of trouble for being bastards. I dove into cold ass water headfirst drink (Smart I know!) You know you are young and dumb when I can't remember a single Royals highlight this year, maybe Randa went deep at some point, but all I know was I was looking to score busch light at all times. I remember gameday 2001 for playstation as the Vikings were awesome on that team. As a general awesome memory I liked it when Matt had a couple crushes that would come over so I could talk trash to them. I also liked playing Mario Golf for a zillion hours in a row. The unofficial end to the summer came when we had a cookout for a the first preseason game for the NFL. I remember Matt's 21st birthday because everyone duck taped him up to a chair. He was nothing like he is Now, he was alittle more dickish back then, but he was still someone to hang out with. I don't like to live in this space and time in my head too long because I remember the good with the bad. I remember being real shy in general, Bryce, Botty, Matt, and Miguel, sometimes my sister, and randoms around St. Joseph were my only friends. Like all things that era came to an END. I went back to school, Bryce went back to school, Miguel went to live at Camp Marvin Hillyard, and I don't know where Botty went off too. I had a horrible next semester because I just wanted to drink and party all the time. I think I only passed 9 hours. It is always hard say what the crap I did with my time during some of this time in my life because I was battling general depression. I did snap out of the funk by next summer. I will always remember sneaking around with Byrd drinking, hanging out for hours on end, Bobo, Rob Calloway fight, Fight Club, and blockbuster.

Royals are getting the bats going

The Royals are getting their bats going. Perez, Moose, Hosmer, Escobar, could be a top five offense in this league for awhile. Oh yeah and then there is this guy called Billy . He is not bad either. That lineup is very good, I can't wait to see how they respond with a couple more years of experience and with weight training. Yesterday was good. Just have been working hard, then after I work hard, I sit down with Raymond, make sure I am praying and keeping on a decent spiritual path, then I went for a walk and made sure I got that in. Then put on some shorts and relaxed. It was a decent day.

Dayton Lyons I'll See Deez

Escobar is on a roll. The Royals have bounced back after that woeful series with St. Louis. Chen and Hochaver (Hochocinco!) That is great. Sporting KC piss pounded Dayton Lions tonight 3-0. Sapong with two talleys, and some other awesome guy had the other goal. Oh yeah it was Graham Zusi with a long strike from range. Kris, Sarah, Ryan, and Shannon went. It was very hot out. We were sweating like bastards. It was a fun night. No pictures though which is weird. Everything else is going really good. Getting work done around my apartment, getting work done at work, people texting me wanting to hang out. Life is good. I am also very healthy, every day I am not throwing up or having an anxiety attack is a blessed day.

SUNDAY NOT FUNDAY!!!

Yesterday I woke up and I was tired, but couldn't fall asleep. It was very frustrating. I was grumpy and tired. Luckily I was by myself. I did some laundry, played some guitar hero, watched sports center. I then got some food for the afternoon and hung up the laundry after it was done. I cooked chicken and then awaited the Royals impending disaster. I had some baked wings, some breast of the chicken, and some wafers. The Royals then went on to suck and lose. They looked really bad. Hosmer is probably heading to AAA or to a bar to get his swing going. I hope they can bounce back. Sporting KC is in action tomorrow for the Open Cup against the Dayton Lions. Dayton Lions are not in the MLS so I have no idea how that will shake up. I didn't get to see nascar this weekend exept for danica patick getting pushed into some kitty litter (fitting!) Yesterday after I ate and the Royals lost Kris came over and we watched TV. I then walked to black dog and hung out with my friend Angela. Angela has bright red hair, she is always sweaty, but she is nice. She introduced me to a band called Timber Timbre. I like the band quite a bunch now. We walked to the gas station to get cigerettes and I felt like I was right back at home in St. Joe. Nothing I did more in st. joe than walk to the store to buy crap with random people. This week is going to be tough and busy. My plan is just to eat when I am hungry, write out if something is frustrating me, and verbalize if it is really bothering me. So one day at a time and here we go!

Sunday

The Royals and Sporting KC both got beat yesterday. In Sporting KC's game they got hammered. Royals...well they just can't score runs. What is Hosmers deal this year...I've heard of second year slumps, but this shit is bad even for the Royals. Yesterday I went down to the Crossroads and watched some bands play at Grassacer. My sistor was kind enough to get me a ticket. I loaded up a cooler full of water and pop. Sons of Fathers are one of my favorite country bands. They really can sing well. Goddamn Gallows psycobilly style was very interesting and Cornmeal and Split Lip Rayfield did their thing. After it got dark the entire venue cooled off. I saw Scott and Bethany there and they ate hot wings. It wasn't your normal run of the mill hot wings, it was the kind where everyone took a bite and were sad and angry at God that he could allow such evil to exist in this world. I don't know why, but I didn't try one. I am always one to ruin my day with doing something ignorant, but the amount of water and pain they were in eating a small piece of wing-death, were proof that I didn't want that in my life. Sometimes you just have to set boundaries and say "One spicy wing isn't going to send me to the hospital.

Juan Bencho Returns

The return of Juan Bencho yesterday was a good one. He hit a couple balls hard including a homerun. Out of all the young studs for the Royals, he might be the best one. That is why he is the Hispanic Johnny Bench, or Juan Bencho! Paulino is out for the year and that sucks. Our pitching staff was already "pregnant on a roller coaster bad" now it is worse. Sporting KC plays tonight, hopefully they can tie. I have no idea who is going to be playing. Peterson has been playing well at LW because Bobby Convey has disappeared.. Today I woke up and played some Guitar Hero. I am trying to make an effort to play all the video games I don't play. It sounds simple, but surprisingly tedious to really get down to it. I also have been playing Dirt Track Racing 2 with my Momo Steering wheel. I downloaded some setups and now my piece of crap vehicle is going fast! I am going to a concert tonight and it should be fun. I really love Split Lip Rayfield and Cornmeal. I love Alternative bluegrass so much, I will probably piss my pass in sure bliss tonight.

Lebron Wins

Lebron wins his first title. Way to go ass pony! I have been listening to the following bands. The Strokes, Naked and Famous, Goyte, Matt and Kim, The Wombats, The Maccabees, Cornmeal and Split Lip Rayfield. I have nothing to report about the following bands because I had already heard their songs and decided to listen to them more closely. The Strokes are in studio from what I hear and that makes me happy. They are an old school rock band who really rocks! I also listen to a ton of Pinback and my current favorite song is "torch" I hope the Royals play well this weekend and Sporting KC plays again on Saturday. They are playing every three days or so this part of the schedule so I will be happy just to get out of these games with ties.

Royals and Sporting KC

Chen pitched a great game yesterday and the Royals won. They are coming on strong. Sporting KC played a physical game with many yellows and one red. They came away with a tie up in Seattle. My TV with HD sound and the Seattle supporters presented a rocking atmosphere right in my apartment. I went to the Black Dog yesterday with Ryan, Kris, and Jason. Sarah showed up later. It was an alright day. I was just there to get my coffee and get to watching some sports after a long day. Everything has been going good. How many more days until retirement?

Baked Chicken and Hot Sauce

Tuesday went well. I got a ton of stuff done because I felt good and had energy. The Royals won, Hochever looked good. Might be the start of a massive turn around. The bats need to wake up though. The Heat won and they are looking like they are going to close out that serious. Durant needs 5000 pounds of Hy-Vee chicken, some Steriods, and a personal trainer. He is seriously at a disadvantage because he isn't very strong. Still a great player though. Jason and I and this asian chick sat at black dog for awhile. It was enjoyable. Girl: This Candy is like a Foster the People concert in my mouth! Raphael: That bad huh?

Tuesday

Royals lost yesterday. *Sad Trombone!* I went and hung out at the black dog with Jason, Ryan, Kris, and Sarah. It was wild.

Monday, June 18, 2012

Thank God it's Monday

Hello! Great win for the Royals yesterday. Billy Butler....the man, the myth, the hero. Yuni hits a homerun to win. That is all I have to say today is Royals baseball! It's not bad.

Happy Fathers day

Happy Fathers day everyone! I am lucky to have a dad who was hungry enough to work hard and provide me with important things like inline roller skates, a steering wheel for nascar games, and a TPX Bat for hitting homeruns off of Daniel Vice! There are bad parents out there for whatever reason, and they don't give the kids what they need to go out and succeed. My dad has worked hard and has been married for 35 years. That is impressive amount of work and success! I went to the Sporting KC game yesterday and there were two beautiful goals. One goal by Cesar was so awesome I both pissed my pants and cried in tears of joy. Kris, Molly K, and her friend were there. It was fun and the fans gave it their all and so did the players. I the end it worked out. Today is the rubber game for the Cards and Royals. I hope the Royals take the Cards fans flip flops off and beat them to death. Then shove a dave matthews album down their throats. There is going to be basketball on tonight and it will be awesome! I have felt good most these last days, but it has not been easy. Whenever you go through work, errands, people being idiots, you have to remember that doing the right thing will always lead you to peace, if you maintain a positive attitude. Sometimes what I really need to do is send out a text or draw a funny picture to break my state, or if nothing is working just accept my frustration and have assurance that my mood will change.

When Keeping it real goes wrong/right

Yesterday I went to go see Pinback. They are one of my favorite bands. I always used to make David listen to them over and over when we lived together. I went there and the opening guy was ummm ok. Pinback sounded great, I am always alittle worried when a "quiet" or a whispering band has to bring together a loud sound for everyone. They were fine. Also they are indie for real. They were setting up most of their stuff, tuning their own stuff. It was great. "Fortress" and "Good to Sea" "No where to nowhere" sounded awesome. It was a great show and I am glad I went. I was SURPRISED of the bass lines the bass guy could pull off. Youtube any of their live stuff and you will be like. Whoa!

Wednesday

Tuesday night was ok. Jason and I watched some Oklahoma City Basketball. He has some really smoking hot girls that are friends. They were there. We ate grilled chicken and OKC won the game. That series is going to be one to remember. Durant in his prime and Lebron in his prime. Millions of people play basketball across the word and they are two of the best (other than Rik Smits of course). I went and got some groceries (chicken and fish what a surprise) and just messed around on the internet. It is amazing how much time I spend on the internet. I wouldn't say "Waste" because I noticed if I just get back from a a walk and I go as far as I go I need some resting time anyway and no way gets me relaxing and out of my head better than watching Puppies on Youtube.com The Royals won yesterday. They should be getting Salvador Perez and Cain back shorty. Well needed. Soria, Cain, Duffy, Perez, Sucking Hosmer. This team should be doing way better. They won yesterday and hopefully they get back on track. The #USMNT tied yesterday and they are frustrating to watch. They had a couple of open nets and they missed them badly. Then they gave up a free kick at the end of the game. Oddly enough. Soccer is gaining momentum around KC, but from what I read this is the weakest USMNT in years. I remember the one in 2010 was the best. Oh well I am enjoying my summer hope you are as well.

Monday

Monday was ok. It was nice out after work I listened to motivational mp3's and walked. I then washed my bowl of hot sauce out and watched Mad Men. It was the season final and it was a good one. Today I woke up and felt pretty good. Sometimes the dread of the day starts to get to me, but I have to stop that thinking and turn it more positive. It is beautiful out right now! Trees swaying birds chirping, aunt jemima bottle being littered onto my lawn. The old Aunt Jamima bottle was the best. It looked like Harriet Tubman. I used to play underground railroad with those bottles all the time.

Watching Strike Three

The Royals. Wow dudes! You guys clearly don't understand you can't get a hit if you don't swing the bat. GIO must have a good apartment with a nice 1998 Honda Accord out front. He doesn't want to be in the Majors at all. Ireland lost in the EURO CUP which was sad, I didn't get to see Nascar because I was watching the Royals. We are going to have an OKC vs. Heat finals. OKC wins in an epic game 7 battle. The weekend went pretty well. I cleaned and played video games. I went out to black dog for awhile, nothing huge though. I went for a couple walks and listened to music. Overall it was a dream weekend. I learned why my tiles in my apartment always look crappy, there are these marks in the tiles because my apartment is old and busted, and in those tiles is dirt, If you get that dirt out it looks better. I for some reason thought that dirt was apart of the tiles. I had to take hot water and scrub that crap out. The tiles don't look great but they look better. I learned why you don't set a hot dog sideways in your oven to cook it, it eventually falls down into the hot part of the stove creating a hot dog flame so hot that you can barely stick your hand in there to grab the pig anus sausage and throw it out to a Lenexa stray dog. I like dogs and all but Lenexa has more stray dogs than you would think. They just go around biting tires on vehicles and just look all dirty. I just want to go over there and give a stray dog a fishermans suplex like Chris Jerico in Summer Slam 01. This week doesn't look that fun, but whatever. I am just going to do my best and let the chips fall where they may. When I eat potato chips and I let the chips fall where they may, they ususally end up under my red chair.

Saturday

Hello Saturday! Today was pretty good. I cooked Chicken. I went for a walk. I talked to my buddy Bob L at night time. I am watching the Royals currently. Escobar just hit a base hit. Hosmer and Butler have looked like shit in the field. If the Royals just played Hosmer at first they would have been in better shape. I did get to watch some of the Euro soccer game today. It has just been pretty relaxing. My subwolfer and speaker setup makes it delightful to watch a game. I sometimes turn off the speaker and subwoolfer only to turn it back on to make me really enjoy the quality sound of Gatorade commercials. Pocono is on tomorrow for Nascar. Overall everything is going well. I haven't been dealing with any woman as of late, but it is all good, I have been happy.

Random Stuff

Hosmer is in right field today. I was trying to think when the Royals last played a game that ment anything? Probably 2003 down the stretch. Hopefully one day, the Royals will be playing game that means something, because that changes it from "Oh Hey guys at the ball game playing on facebook" to actually watching really closely.

Will Myers

Going to Cut and Paste from Chiefsplanet.com. Because getting excited for Will Myers is great. He is going to be the next great Royal! Originally Posted by DeezNutz Myers is going to be such a ****ing stud that it's not even funny. So anxious for the Super 2 deadline to pass because the kid is ML ready. Right. ****ing. Now.

Wednesday madness

Yesterday I went to Sporting KC. They fight through some tough calls and a Colorado team that seemed more interested falling on the ground than they did running set pieces. Teal Bunburry played awesome. Ole Teal has a habit of pouting and not playing hard, but he did yesterday and they won. My diet hasn't been good as of late as I am frustrated and tired of sticking to diets. I can see why people eat so much, it helps with being bored so much. Especially nom nom noming on a case of tootsie rolls. So I am aware of my bad habits, it is just up to me, God, and my ability to go through pain to put a stop to it. I moved a fridge and some other stuff with my friend Raymond. Only thing I can say is we discussed self-assurance and not needing someone elses approval that you are going to be O.K. most the time I feel good about how hard I work, and what things I am doing in my life, but I need to run them by Raymond sometimes. If I can turn annoying people, places, and things, into a life lesson, then I am on my way to having a more satisfying life for myself. The Royals dropped a couple games and that is sad. The Twins suck this year. It looks like Paulino is out as well. Injury bug has hit the Royals hard this year. Hopefully they get Cain back soon, Dyson isn't good at baseball. The Thunder were too much for the Spurs and Tiger won this week. Jimmy Johnson went fast and turned left better than anyone and Mad Men was a great episode this week. That is all for Wednesday.

Game Day another other Stuff. GIVE EFFORT

Tonight Sporting KC plays in the Open Cup. The Open Cup winner goes onto play in the ConCaf tournament which is a level above MLS. Luckily we play a familiar foe in Colorado tonight. I think Kempin is starting in Goal which is cool because I love Big Puma and all, but he doesn't have the reaction time Big Kempin' has. The Royals lost yesterday, but they are hitting better, especially Gordon and Hosmer. Ok to switch gears for a second. I was sitting there today wondering what to do/think next and it hit me, do something for someone else. Help someone else is always a good thing to do. Sounds so simple, but really isn't considering I spend more time on thinking about vending machines than I do on how to help other people.

Saturday and Sunday

Saturday was pretty sweet. I got to see my favorite band Flogging Molly play. Buzz Beach ball was a a hit with the fans and the crowd. I took a lady that lives a different lifestyle than most, I think she was checking out girls more than I was. Speaking of seeing skin, there was ALOT of skin at buzz beach balls. There was your normal blonde and brown hotties, your alt-tatoo hotties, your barely legal hotties, then your passed out hotties. It was a good show and the T-Bones or Hollywood Casino had fireworks after the show. It ended up being a fun night. In typical Kansas City fashion people were tailgaiting hardcore before the concert. I thought Joy Division was very good. Going forward we have Sporting KC playing Colorado on Tuesday. The Royals won today in spite of Yuni being a total bad baseball player. Hosmer is starting to come around. Onto Randoms. Foster the People have sold a zillion albums this year. They sound like Maroon 5. Maroon 5 used to be considered "Buzzworthy" watch for a shift from them from going to ALT to Mainstream to get more money. Flogging Molly's lead singer once wore a Wizards Jersey on stage in KC. I was hoping he was going to put on one, but he did not. *Sad Trombone* Justin Blackmon got arrested for DUI and his blood alcohol was "near death" level. Good work!

Buzz Beach Ball day!

As my sister would say "It's festival time!" I am getting ready for Buzz Beach Ball. I really just want to see Flogging Molly, but I am in a good mood and it is nice out. I worked out hard, actually I walked very hard yesterday. The Royals have been playing better. Hosmer straight up sucks right now, but he will get it going eventually. Gordon seems to be coming around, Royals are young and hungry. Sporting KC plays on Tuesday against the Colorado Rapids. Ireland Soccer plays tomorrow in a Euro game. It should be a really great weekend. By the way. I always call soccer-football, and it was weird all week when I had "Irish Football" on my mind and people wanted to talk Notre Dame. I mean Ireland Soccer! Unfortunately Vinnie didn't grill on Thursday, I could have used some grilled meat! I have been obsessing over my goals to be physically, mentally, and financially fit. I upped my 401k with holdings which I don't like receiving less per paycheck, but I am crappy at saving. I think if I have it in my mind to save then atleast I am on the right track. Motivational speakers always say "Whats the one thing you can do right now, that you will be glad you did 1 year, 5 years, 10 years down the road. The thing that pops into my mind is saving more money, or look for ways to save. The psychology of it is retarded as well, I will blow 100 bucks at Sporting KC game but then buy cheap paper towels. I guess the end point is I am happy about the choices that I have made. My gift as of late is just to try to get people excited to tailgate. Girls and Guys seem to love to go out to a sporting event rather than sit in the house. O.k. I will now right down what I want to do by next year. Continue to work out. Buy a House Save and look to save money. Grow Spiritually. Be a great wingman/friend. Go to Sporting events and Cheer as hard as I can to Sporting KC-Chiefs-Royals.
