Tom Brady and Ray Lewis
As I was struggling the other day I heard something interesting. Tony Robbins said one of his tapes that he was talking to a baseball player. He asked this hitter what energy level from 1-10 did he have to be at to get a hit off of Dwight Gooden. The first thought that came to mind was how high off of coke is Dwight Gooden at the time? Jokes aside he makes a good point. Athletes and nascar drivers have to be at elite focus during their jobs. So it got me thinking about how Ray Lewis gets fired up, Drew Brees gets fired up, and Tom Brady. I can learn about these athlets how to get fired up for my day and mid day. I can also learn that being successful is not an hour long process. It is play after play moment after moment deal. I can just imagine the long hours of film Tom Brady puts in, or the long hours on the free throw line Michael Jordon spent, I know that these players go through boring times but they are able to stay focuses and grow until they lift superbowls and knock up victoria secret models. I probably should mention Tiger Woods worth ethic here. His tireless hours of chasing perkins waitresses also really motivates me to put in more hours perfecting my craft.
