The weekend and Monday workout acknowledgement.

Chest and tri's today...it was good

Nascar was really fun this weekend. I got up early to watch Sprint Cup practice before the Truck race. My mom got gift bags from 3M and other sponsorships. I was glad that my mom stood in line to get free stuff from the sponsors because I don't like to take advantage of free stuff by waiting in line. That is apart of race weekend that I don't partake in, but it was nice to see her enjoy free gift bags. My mom also rooted for the truck #29 because that is what day her birthday is. Matt Crafton won in what was a wild truck race. There were quite a few wrecks in the truck race. Onto Sunday...Sprint Cup was a good race. The first thing I noticed about Sprint Cup is how much faster they are than Nationwide and the Trucks. Kayne was trying to run down Matt Kenseth there towards the end, but couldn't make the pass. Kenseth was fast all weekend so it was no surprise that he won You have to be a brave soul to drive a car 190 mph and hope it sticks in the turn. Dale Jr got stuck in the pits during a caution...he came in in the middle of the pack. I was a bit bummed to see how #88 Dale Jr got shuffled to the back, but the important thing was there was some action up front. Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day weather wise. I am glad I don't drink anymore because there was many days were I would be too hungover to get out of bed and enjoy racing or baseball. I loved Nascar and baseball when I was in high school but then my attention just went towards partying and school work. Now that I getting away from partying it feels really good to watch the human spirit push a giant metal machine of death to it's limits at over 200 miles per hour. The NASCAR fans seemed to enjoy the day as well. There is nothing like the smell of grilling/booze/gasoline/burned rubber. Also there is nothing like NASCAR THUNDER. The Engines are truely thunderous.

The only thing that could have made the weekend suck was if it rained and it didn't rain so the weekend turned into an awesome weekend. So I am glad it all worked out because I have had NASCAR tickets for a couple months and I looked forward to going very badly. I had 33 pounds of kettle corn. That is a fact.Kettle corn is something I thank God for everyday I also had a hamburger with pulled pork on it. It was very good. Royals and Sporting KC sucked on Saturday, but the Royals came back strong on Sunday. Monday was ok....I got my teeth cleaned on Monday and the dentist sold me some prescription mouthwash and some prescription toothpaste last year and it has made a difference on my gums. My gums don't bleed so much and my teeth seem to be healthier. I email my dentist sometimes because I want to make sure my teeth are healthy enough to handle the 45 pounds of Oklahoma Joes I eat a week.
