Having a bad dream can start your day off badly. I had a dream yesterday that I was playing in the all star game at The K. First thing I noticed that Pujols was not taking the game seriously, he was batting left handed. I grounded out four times, all to second or shortstop. Then when I was walking to the dugout, my dad yelled out "what is your problem today?" I then got mad and explained that my bat speed is getting slower because I am in my 30's. I then went and looked into a bookbag of books for college, and I was at first mad because I had to take all these classes. I then realized that I graduated college and the books were all electives I was taking because I am bored and I like to learn. Some random things about my dream. The K still had astroturf. It wasn't sold out for the game, and my dad had his legs crossed like he was talking to someone else, and just caught my at bat. That was the end of my dream. I am sure there is some deep thoughts in there like I have dad issues, or I don't feel very good about myself now that I am 30, but I am just going to chalk it up to being a dream and not make it out to be something it isn't. I really do need to work on my bat speed though.
P.S. I bet my dad didn't catch my at bat because he was talking to someone about Boating, or the progressive rock band Styx.
